Introduction

The culture of poverty is social theory which explains the living conditions of poor sections of society that is bequeathed as heirlooms from one generation to next generation. The theory of culture of poverty was first introduced in year 1959 from the study of Mexican and Puerto Rico urban poor families by American anthropologist Oscar Lewis.
