It is not easy to understand the person who belongs to the culture other than you.

Central Idea

The central Idea is that we do not like the culture of other ethnicities because; there are vast difference in their way of living and practicing their culture.

Introduction

People from Pakistan look like backward people. It is a joke but, related to somehow reality because, when we meet Pakistani people, we do not understand them easily in our first meeting unless we spend 8 hours with them.

I am John Smith working as a HSE Engineer in a well reputed company, I have met a person who is different from my culture. For our project (Installation of Scaffolding), we need a HSE advisor and, our company hires Mr. Rameez Javed for 2 weeks to assist in our project. He is a Pakistani and lives in Karachi (largest city of Pakistan). Our company pleased to have him on the field because, he was professional and experience person. He worked on different fields of oil and gas and, has skills to complete projects on time. During a project, we got a holiday and, I had a responsibility to visit my City with Mr. Rameez. He was keen to visit unique places especially Museums, and historical places. I took him to the famous museum of my city which is the center of attraction for the people coming from under developed countries. We spent 8 hours together on holiday and had a chat on different topics. He was not similar to me from the perspective of culture, color and, language as he was a pure Pakistani. He got a long beard on his face showing that he is a Muslim by religion.

He told me that in Pakistan, they also got a huge Museum in Lahore and Karachi which also consisted of these sculptures but, these sculptures are more worth than the sculptures in their country. Moreover, he added that he did not like these sculptures being a Muslim. I was shocked to listen that because, I liked each sculpture and inspired by their beauty. He told me that Muslims do not believe in idol and false gods and neither have they believed in such saints. They only trust the teachings of their own religion. I asked him that in this way you did not respect my religion and, other religions too (Ruger et al, 2011). He told me that, it is not like that but our religion did not allow us to think about these things even they are ...
