Cultural variation has an impact on healthcare practice

Healthcare practices are the prevention, treatment, and management of illness and the preservation of mental and physical well-being through the services offered by the medical and allied health professions. Many things are needed to learn for patients to be in a good condition again. Also, there are lots of considerations to assess or give importance before doing the said practice like considering the culture or religion of the patient. Not all cultures or religions are into medical practice, or some of them are not agreeing to one of the procedure that is needed for the patient care (Health Care, 2013). The thesis statement of the research paper is “cultural variation has an impact on healthcare practice.” As there is a cultural influence on the treatment of the patient and there are variations in treatment procedures of the diseases; so there is a huge impact of culture upon culturally relativistic perspective regarding patient attitude towards copying with the course of illness (How culture influence health beliefs, 2013).

Apparently, the medical team is succeeding on getting court orders to transfuse blood to Jehovah's Witnesses. The acquisition of Jehovah's Witnesses tradition of not allowing blood transfusion is an issue in the medical field. Saving the life of the patient is one of the primarily aim of the health care team. They will think of a way, a procedure per se in order to make the patient to be in his/her holistic well-being again. One is that is the transfusion of the blood that the Jehovah's Witness is not ...
