Introduction

Music has been a part of culture for many years. There has been a significant rise in trend of musical concerts worldwide where artists perform for fame and fortune. This also promotes the music in culture. Musical concert performances attract wide range of audience ranging from youngsters to elders. The various types of genres in music entertain the people of every age. Some perform for charity purpose to gather funds for welfare cause while others do it for stardom and fans. Recently, there have been musical concert performances nationwide by rising young stars. Lindsey Stirling is among one of such young musical artists whose concert was attended by me (Lindsey, 2013). This essay explains the various details of musical concert performance and overall experience.

Discussion

The musical concerts performed by local colleges free or low-cost performances. Student performances are generally of almost the same quality as professional performances, but typically cost much less. However, this is also true for the rising talented youngsters who perform at relatively less costly to attract the audience. The concert that I attended was in Richmond which is approximately two hours long drive from Ashburn. It was a memorable event which was attended along with friends who enjoyed much. The details of the event were appealing due to several reasons. This can be observed from individual and public aspects. The details of event, music, experience, and reactions are discussed below.

The musical concert of Lindsey Stirling took place in Richmond, VA, US at The National on Friday, 10th May, 2013 (Style Weekly, 2012).
