Question 1: What aspects of Dr. Williams' behavior influence the decisions of the families he works with and possible influence the ultimate health outcomes of their children?
Dr. Brent William by his optimistic approach towards decision making of families regarding their children's health care issues influence the decisions of families that delivered positive outcomes for health care of their children. Dr. William spends time to diagnose the actual problem with the families and their children for this he encourages patients to discuss their problems so that more effective and better treatment can be prescribed. Dr. William talks to children and try to be familiar with them to put a positive influence on them. Like in the case where patient was afraid of using CPAP mask, Dr. William ensure her that the nurse will guide her and she will also be delivered the CPAP mask and machine which will be ordered by Rita, the nurse. This approach of Dr. William encourages families to have their children treated. Dr. William also looks after his patients on a regular basis in order to check that whether they are regularly giving treatment to their children or not because those families were not educated and aware about the treatment and usage of the medical instruments. As they were not educated and poor they prefer to go to churches and other homecare to treat their children due to fear of expense and lack of awareness that is why Dr. William has to do hard work to convince them for treatment.
