Introduction

Cultural awareness plays an important role in the development of certain skills. Cultural awareness refers to the understanding of different cultures, values, beliefs, behaviors, and assumptions (Mathews, Parkhill, Schlehofer, Starr & Barnett, 2011). The paper will discuss about the quizzes and tasks related to the cultural awareness. The paper will confer about the quiz, strengths in the area of cultural awareness, weaknesses, a plan for improvement of skills, and importance of cultural awareness for the managers.

Quiz

It was very interesting for me to see various categories of quizzes and tasks on the website. According to the instructions, I looked up every category of the quizzes and found that country specific quizzes are of my interest. I like to read about different countries, their cultures, and morals. For this purpose, I attempted the quiz of country specific quizzes. Before the starting of quizzes, the website asked me about my favorite country. I selected Australia to answer the questions regarding Australia. There were around ten questions regarding the culture of Australia. I was pretty sure during the quiz that I would achieve the 85% easily. After submitting my results, I was amazed to see the results. I just secured 70% marks in the quiz. It means that my seven answers were correct and three were wrong.

The score of test was 70%, and I was unable to achieve the target of 85% in my first attempt. I was surprised to see the results because I was pretty confident to achieve the target of 85%. I selected the country with my own, and unfortunately I did not come up with good score. It means that I do not have enough knowledge regarding the culture of Australia.
