Introduction

Crossroad is basically referred to a situation where an individual have to make a critical decision at point in time (Klein, 1998). This is generally a situation where an individual has no idea that what is right to do, but it is also very important to make a decision at that particular time. An individual just makes a decision for the sake of making it. Every decision in life is important and it could have a positive or negative impact on an individual's life (Andrew, 2008). In case of a crossroad situation, an individual just makes a decision without considering any logical factors relating to the situation, and this decision could change the way of living of an individual.

A brief introduction about what exactly a crossroad situation is, it is obvious that we all have experienced such critical situations in life in any point at time. These critical situations created a mental position under which it was very difficult to think that what decision is better to make. It is also true that these critical decisions changed the ways of living and other factors related to our lives. These decisions could include purchasing a house, selecting a college, going back to school, marriage, having a child, etc. There are many situations under which people have to take critical decisions which impact people in different ways (Davidson, 2007).

I experienced such a crossroad situation when I had to decide whether I should join a football academy or not.
