The cultures of the world are becoming more similar in terms of consumer behaviors. Due to extended globalization; the consumers are becoming closer and their tastes and preferences are increasingly becoming similar. Cross cultural communication impacts the marketing strategies significantly. The basic difference in the United States and Japanese cross cultural communication is related to the 'language.' Effective marketing requires a prominent understanding of the culture for which the marketing plan is being developed. Since the awareness of people is increasing and they know the cultures of each other; it becomes essentially important to realize by the companies that consumer behaviors are becoming similar.
