Introduction

The Anxiety cure (1999), a book written by the renowned philosopher, Dr. Archibald D. Hart. Dr.Hart owns a clinic, named, the Hart institute; this clinic primarily focuses on the healing of patients with mental, physical and spiritual matters. The book is a detailed comprehension covering the issues of trauma, anxiety, stress and terror with reference to all ages. The author's aim is to succeed in helping the ones who are in trouble by the after effects of tension, anxiety and further help them carry on with a peaceful life. In the book, the author has integrated information into a personal theoretical strategy leading to the theory of Christian counseling. The critique will be focusing on the author's theological and theoretical approach and further will go on discussing the various benefits and drawbacks of the model. The prolific philosopher tells the audience tells a remedy of how to cure themselves of the issues of stress, tension, trauma, and stress. According to the author, remedies can be used whenever the need arises and thus can be said as an eternal cure.

Hart, being an expert in chemical processes within the mind and human physiology, reveals that the person himself is the most integral part of keeping himself happy although it some help can be gained from medicines too. Scriptural application are used to make things interesting and so that the readers are able to digest. The difference in opinions of types of stress (healthy and unhealthy stress) causes the dilution of control to spread even wider apart that eventually aids to full fledge panic attacks! Hart tells his readers why such situations are faced by an individual and how the person can distinguish such an event before some fatal damage occurs. According to Hart when a body is suffering from such an issue the body itself helps us to a development process to withhold or end the raucous state, but if the stress is not stopped then the natural process becomes unstable, which if not stopped leads to serious fatal damages. Permanent damages are said to be very deadly, and if the problem keeps on going, the receptors of the brain can be damaged even to the extent when even medication will not prove to be a way out. In the book, it is written that a type of negative stress is anxiety which depletes the body's ability to create a natural state of stability. Some medications can be used as a substitute to the body's natural process, but still Hart emphasizes the importance using fewer medications as it helps the natural process which ultimately keeps the body in a balanced manner.

In Hart's study, Hart was able to distinguish the external influences which aid to traumas and panics.
