Preamble

The article “Governing the Global Corporation: A Critical Perspective” is written by Subhabrata Bobby Banerjee, providing a significant outlook upon the ways global corporations can be governed. The author raises an argument that the papers published in Business Ethics Quarterly of 2009 reflecting on the civic roles corporations play on the international level, did not do justice in analysing power across different networks. In addition to this author also argues that the statement made in these articles related to deliberative democracy, is baseless and does not consider the effects which material, institutional and intrusive power have on the corporation. ...
