Introduction

The poem "Dulce Et Decorum Est" written by Wilfred Owen. The meaning of the French title is “It is sweet and honorable to die for one's Country”. The poem is in the form of two sonnets, the first structure consists of a sonnet of Petrarch, an octave and a sextet, and the rhyme scheme of a Shakespearean sonnet, omitting the last pairs.
