Problem statement

The clinical problem in the study

The clinical problem encompasses of the issue that despite of very high concerns and regards for providence of best quality of services to the patients, the nursing staff often fails due to the inappropriateness of resources available to them. The study is based upon the notion that the whole premise of the quality of care is directly related to the standard of care including the resources, the hospital code of ethics and the medical team. The study investigates the issue that nursing care is seriously affected when the resources and the quality of care provided by the institution are not sufficient to meet the standards and expectations set by the customer. It indicates that regardless of the training, hiring and development of the nursing staff, the phenomena encompasses of the quality of care and the provisions provided by the medical institution, rather than, the values that flow towards the effective nursing.

The significance of the study

The study is more towards qualitative research. The author addresses the problem by outlining that the fields of medicine, as well as, the medical institution are investing enormous money and time to invest after the enhancement of hiring procedure, as well as, the training for nursing. In all cases, the development of the quality oriented approach towards the patient care is solely based upon the paradigm of nursing with people hired and their efforts.

The author quotes several evidences to quote the examples that the reliance for the notion has to be more towards the issue of resources provided by the hospital.
