Introduction

The tragic comedy movie selected for this assignment is Delivery man starring Chris Patt, Cobie Smulders and Vince Vaughn. The release date of the movie is November 22, 2013 and it was produced by Touchstone Pictures. Delivery Man is directed by Ken Scott. The movie is an excellent remake of Scott's 2011 French Canadian film named Starbuck.

Argumentation

Everything you need to know about the movie can be seen by watching the trailer. Delivery Man's trailer is an excellent trailer from which you can get an idea of the movie. The weakness of the Delivery Man is that it is a remake of 2011 French-Canadian named Starbuck. As compare to Starbucks, the trailer of Delivery Man has some cinematic flaws. Apart from trailer, the actors of Delivery Man have done tremendous acting as compare to Starbuck. The film Delivery Man is totally based on the life of the man that is engaged in the bad business - sell sperms to the company for test tube babies deliver. That's why the film is named as Delivery Man. The naught masturbation scenes are deleted from the film and they were present in Starbuck. Although the film is based on a very bad idea but it represents how bad business are established in the World. Delivery Man can be seen 13 years old child but here, I would argument that this film is not suitable for 13 years old child. The PG-13 label would be removed from the movie and it should be changed to PG-18 label. Secondly, I argument that this movie is not suitable for a family because when a 13 year old kid would ask you that what is being done in the movie, you would not have an answer to give him. The only answer you can give him is that this movie is not suitable for children.

The argument in the movie is that it showed about intervening in the bad activities when a person is tangled in financial problems. The film showed that how a frustrated person named David who intervened in the sperm donation because of the financial problems. His police officer girlfriend was tired because of his lazy behavior. He expected David to work and be a responsible person. Moreover, she wanted to start a family with David but he always showed irresponsible behavior.
