The following essay is related to the causes and effects of unemployment. The author has started the essay by describing the definition of unemployment and then supporting it with the types of unemployment prevailing in the society. The author has defined the main causes and effects that has created unemployment. The essay has solid introduction as it is clearly describing the topic and its terminology. One error which can be seen here is that the sentences made by the author are very short. There is no connection between the sentences. After one sentence, the author is portraying another view of the topic. For e.g. soon after explaining the unemployment definition, the author directly jumps to causes of unemployment. The causes are also being explained very briefly (one liner). The ability to write clearly, and hence communicate effectively is becoming increasingly important as text based tools such as the internet, and email become essential tools of our daily life. Without being able to communicate face-to-face, our writing needs to be clear and concise in order to both get our message across and to prevent misunderstandings.
By reading the essay it is clearly visible that the author has not planned the essay while writing.
