The unification of laws standardizing behavior and the organizations which put into effect these laws is known as the system of criminal justice. Criminal justice integrates courts, police, jails defense attorneys and prosecutors. For centuries these distinct institutions have continued to exist and there is separate history of each institution. Whereas, the criminal justice in the United States came up in the form of an interrelated system by the end of the nineteenth century. This paper discusses the organizational issues in criminal justice.
