Introduction

Any individual who is charged with a crime has right to defend himself in front of the court and also hire the best lawyer or legal representative for himself. The law of criminal defense employs both the defensive and the offensive tactics. The defendant will fight against the allegations made against him and this action of the defendant is referred to as defensive action. On the other hand, offensive action involves the use of affirmative defense. According to the affirmative action, if the defendant is entitled to prevail for some other reason, because there are many actions that may go beyond the individual violation.

Two cases of criminal defense

First case at Boston municipal court

The first case was held at the Boston municipal court. The case was about a man name Mark, who was having a conversation in one of the parks in Boston with his girlfriend. They were sitting there after they had dinner together at one of the nearest restaurant.there were two police men passing by the park in their car. Mark was having an argument and the police observed that they got into a physical fight during the argument. The police went to them and they arrested Mark and accused him of being physical with his girl friend. Mark was taken to jail and the case was forward to the municipal court.

Second case at New Jersey

The second case happened in New Jersey in the year 2011. There was a girl name Sarah, who lived with his father, who recently got divorced from his wife. The father was very strict with his daughter.
