Crater Face by Denise Duhamel

Introduction

Crater Face is one of the most well-known works by the poet Denise Duhamel, published in the book called “Two and Two”. It is a very beautifully written poem that revolves around the character of a little girl who is a victim of child abuse. The poem simply aims to explain to its readers of how the domestic violence can affect a child and his overall personality. Besides successfully reflecting an important issue, the poem also utilizes various literary techniques very effectively.
