Diagnostic Model
Weisbord's Six-Box Model has enunciated in 1976 for enhancing the better performance of the organization. The approach has comprised of six broad categories such as relationships, purposes, structures, leadership, helpful mechanism and rewards. These are 6 basic principles that have critically analyzed in this diagnostic model.
The two companies GE and Shell have faced lacking in all those particular areas which can be improve by implementing the Weisbord's Six-Box approach. The main purpose of this model is to scrutinize the organization on the basis of its product, performance, project and program. It helps to maintain the interaction between employees and top management level directors. Both companies have weak association between directors and employees(Ríos, 2010).

It also provides typical leadership skills that can easily amend without any hard and fast rule. The helping mechanism help to define the systematic approach of implementing changes in planning, budgeting, controlling and information system of an organization that effectual for maintaining the organization objectives and goals.

Though, the position of the company is well maintained at a global level, but the organization change is mandatory because the monotonous policies have become very cliché for the working employees. The implication of Weisbord's Six-Box model is really pertinent for these two selected companies because the leadership area in these companies is slightly ineffective that have adversely affected the reputation of companies. Through this approach, the Companies will able to improve their leadership skills by projecting the assisting of Six-Box model(Lin, 2013).
