Introduction

There are few well-made documentaries full of morals that give us important insights on life and its situations. Country boys is a 9-hour long documentary film that focuses on the story of two teenage boys Cody Perkins and Chris Johnson from Kentucky and their quest to change their lives for the better. The film was originally aired in January 2006 and was directed by David Sutherland. The main theme of the documentary is the struggle of both the boys while they grew up among the pressures of a hard-up, rural environment.
