This paper has also highlighted that which approach is more drawn and why that particular approach is more drawn. The reasons behind that is also been discussed. The person centred approach 'of counselling is basically the philosophy of Dr. Carl Rogers. The person centred approach of counselling can be described as the non directive approach of counselling. The main idea of this approach is to moved away from the old idea that the therapist is the expert but this approach believes that the human being are the better evaluators of their personal potential and the fulfilments of their potentials. This approach more focuses on the need of the sociability of an individual. Whereas the mindfulness approach is designed in such a way to mainly focus an individual's attention on the current scenarios being non judgemental (Bazzano, 2013, 177-180). It is considered as a meditation approach in the eastern world especially it is followed by the Buddhist people.

Discussion

This paper has discussed the two approaches that are used in counselling of the people these two approaches are mindfulness approach and the other approach is the person centred approach. Mindfulness approach of counselling assist an individual to become more aware about the present scenarios, moreover it also observe the slightly changes in the body or mind of a person. Moreover, person centred therapy the therapist demand desire and ability to accept others, regardless of their “worthiness” of such acceptance, enter deeply into the other's world so that you can give and receive understanding, risk be accessible to the other so authentic and vulnerable, as a real person without defences (Bazzano, 2011, 116-128). The confidence of the person centred therapist and refusal to adopt the role of expert, diagnostician or prescribing treatment, eliminates almost all areas of exercise of power. It also eliminates the therapeutic encounter the notion of leader or manager who will guide the consultant to health or the resolution of difficulties.
