The Story

The story starts with a person who has yellow tie swung over the white shirt and past the symbol of a red globe, with heavy black print saying 'Facsimile' written across it, as Todd strolled down the seemingly endless corridor. 'Where are you heading Todd?' A voice asked. 'To the thirty-third floor Bobby, there's a problem with the accounts.' Bobby expressed surprise. 'I know' assured Todd 'and I can take the lift, never been in there before.'

Todd entered the lift which did not have any camera or microphone; unlike the rest of the building. Todd arrived with a ping and looked out of the elevator. The floor was all white except a big set of black double doors at the end, Todd saw guards wearing dark orange uniforms with guns and truncheons on their belts, and he started walking down the corridor. Pacing down the isles Todd turned to his left and saw files, labelled with names.

Todd grabbed one and turned, he saw what he at first thought was a mirror. He ran close and saw himself, but it was more like a shell, no life in the eyes, the body and facial features were identical. Todd couldn't move. He knew he had to leave before he was caught, no one ever came back from that.

Todd was now leaving with two files in hand; not remembering that this would arouse suspicion. Walking down the stairs and corridors, he noticed more and more people looking at him, and the guards walking past turning on the spot to follow him. A river of nerves flowed down his face as he got to the ground floor and began to jog and then went into a run. He burst through a door with guards behind him. Knowing he could not out run them he jumped into a dark room to ...
