Introduction

Human rights always have been controversial issues since it is very difficult to differentiate between group rights and individual rights. In this paper I am going to discuss a controversial issue with reference to case of Charles Laverne Singleton.

Case Background

Charles Laverne Singleton was a murder as he killed a clerk of grocery store in 1979 in Arkansas. After appearing in the court he was sentenced to death that year.
