There are a great number of contemporary issues that are being faced in the field of health informatics. As there is increased collaboration that is required in this particular field of healthcare informatics, it is important to know both about the field of health sciences as well as about the field of information technology. As the usage of this field is increasing heavily in various different perspectives including these specific ones like to improve the quality of patient care, provide access to the knowledge and to increase the productivity. Furthermore, since the arrival of healthcare informatics and there implementation in various fields for various different purposes that are as mentioned above, raising some issues that are related to their implementation and their operations, which includes the communication of the people that are involved in their implementation and their different varying backgrounds, the lack of their knowledge and expertise in or about other fields, which causes a lot of problem in the execution of these healthcare informatics (Bamidis et al, 2004).

Moreover the relevance and the link between these different fields the communication of which with each other has caused the development of this new field and for the successful execution of these it is required that there is a regular flow of communication in between these fields. In order to do so, it is essential for the people including the students and the professionals to stay interrelated with the seminars and councils that are arranged which keep them updated about these and also with the issues that are relevant to them. In order to acquire knowledge and to stay updated about the issues and the advancements ink these fields it is important that the seminars that are mostly organized by the student societies are attended, the societies that are involved in the organization of these events or seminars that are informative regarding the field of healthcare informatics are AMIA, IMIA, ASIS&T, AHIMA, and HIMSS. The healthcare aspects are a vital issue. The framework or a necessary legislation certainly matters for any healthcare institutions. Therefore, all these issues related to the provision of healthcare service matters considerably (Teutsch & Churchill, 2000).
