PEST factors play an important role in the opportunities for value creation strategy. However they are usually beyond the control of the company and must normally be considered as threats or opportunities. The main aim of the world Trade organisation is to encourage the expansion off international free-trade. How many the activities of the WTO affected your chosen organisation and/or firms in your chosen industry sector?
The organization I have choose is Unilever, yes aim of the WTO is to encourage the expansion off international free-trade and Unilever is affected with the activities of WTO for example for the protection of intellectual property rights and maintaining the trademark of the dangers of fraud and counterfeiting, (Steinberg, Richard , ed. 2002 P.124-129
which reflected negatively on the health of consumers and producers on the economies of the marks of origin.(DeSombre, Elizabeth and Samuel Barkin. 2002 P.325-328) The company confirmed that the efforts of Dubai Customs and provide the necessary legal guarantees in the United Arab Emirates, will provide an attractive environment for global investments in various fields, and even encourages them to increase their investments, which is what the "Unilever" in the free zone of Jebel Ali, where are expansions huge regional headquarters and factory for the tag tea product "Lipton", including making it the largest factories around the world with the completion of these expansions in 2012.
