With which organization do you anticipate working on a consultancy basis?

The organization that I will be focusing on in this consultancy project will be FedEx Corporation. FedEx is an American global courier delivery service providing company that is headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee. It was incorporated on 2nd October, 1997. The corporation is organized into various operating units this is the main reason behind its continuous success. Consultancy services are always required in every organizational setup as there are various tasks in which expert advices are required. FedEx is effectively using the services of the consultants in its various operations and it owns personal consultants that are providing the corporation effective support. FedEx is providing e-commerce, business and transportation services in the United States of America and internationally.

What is the relationship between that organization and yourself?

There is a great relationship among me and the selected organization i.e. FedEx Corporation. FedEx is an organization that can help me in sending and receiving things for business and personal usage from all over the world. This is something that binds me with FedEx as an organization.

What are one or two specific organizational or workplace problems that offer potential for consultancy intervention?

The two particular organizational issues that I have identified within the setup of FedEx are maintenance of acceptable product quality and recruiting and retaining specialist staff in a department. These two factors are immensely affecting the organizational performance and these needs to be controlled in order to secure the future of FedEx Corporation (Sturdy, 2009). In my view these two issues can be effectively handled with the help of effective consultancy intervention.
