Painting Analysis (Nate Krier)

It is one of the founding works of modern art by Nate Krier. The portrait lies at the junction of the stylistic orientations. In this version, Nate Krier painted on the first invoice from the canvas with a more violent subject regarding women. It exhibits flat long faces, Iberian-inspired first run, added sharp twists, and hatches that slash the flesh. In the study face and upper body are still treated by gentle curves, regular and stylized, while the hair, forehead and nose are provided with angular hatchings, causing the visual aggressiveness emblematic.

The figure of woman is so ambiguous that it seems as if the painter had moved freely around the subject, gathering information from different viewpoints and angles. The effect of relief that it suggests, without resorting to traditional modeling perspective, reflects the painter's desire to sacrifice the real use of pictorial solutions.

In this painting you can see a variety of lines, but the most predominant are the straight lines and curved lines. The line is the element that is made by the stroke, manages the identification of the women. The drawing has its own language and can suggest stillness, serenity, dynamism and emotion. This painting has a two-dimensional plane as is enshrined in length and width. There is existence of warm and cool colors, warm as orange and red and cold as gray. There is no white neutral color in this painting. There are multiple textures in the painting; smooth textures in the sack of the painter, but also in the same bag you can see there is a rough texture.
