Abstract

In this study we try to explore the concept of “Construction engineering” in a holistic context. The main focus of the research is on “Construction engineering” and its relation with “Wales”. The research also analyzes many aspects of “Construction engineering” and tries to gauge its effect on “Wales”. Finally the research describes various factors which are responsible for “Construction engineering” and tries to describe the overall effect of “Construction engineering” on “Wales”.

Chapter 1: Introduction

The construction is a major industry, both for its economic weight and its impact on the environment. Shipbuilding and aircraft construction, etc., Are equivalent concepts in architectural construction, referring to the techniques of engineering specializing in ships, aircraft, etc. The construction sector is one of the highest accident rate in Europe. The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) is a supra-national body to ensure the safety of workers in the European Union and has substantial information to improve working conditions for construction workers. The building industry in the United Kingdom contributed a gross value of £ 64,747 million to the economy of the United Kingdom in 2004. In 2009, the construction industry in Britain received total orders of around 18.7 billion pounds of private sector and public sector 15.1 billion pounds

Construction sector directly accounts for 5.6% of global GDP Index, however. and its ability to generate employment for being labour intensive, the development of this sector is closely linked to the performance of various industries. This is why its relevance in the development of other sectors and major macroeconomic variables.

The higher the state's economic capacity, increased investment in infrastructure, growth in this sector is driven by government housing programs, the revival of self-motivated by higher financing facilities, an environment of competitive interest rates and improved economic prospects. For its part, public investment in infrastructure also contributes to its growth, which does enable the construction industry and many other related economic activities.
