Introduction

If we understood the conflict only as a pathological phenomenon, leading to disruption of the social system, a violation of its normal operation, the main problem related to the conflict would be reduced to its liquidation - termination, suppression, a speedy resolution. The recognition of a natural phenomenon of conflict in society, in fact, the driving force of development, broadens and deepens the problem of handling (Warren, 2005). This problem becomes mnogolanovoy. The concept of "conflict management" is its essence. In its definition should take into account the contradictory impact of conflict: constructive (the stimulus of creative activity) and destructive (the disintegration of the system, the overhead of the confrontation). Conflict management is a purposeful impact on the conflict, providing the solution of social problems. This paper discusses the approaches to management of conflict in the business world. It includes the causes of conflict, as well as the best approach to manage it.

Discussion

Conflict management is a translation of it in a rational direction of human activity, a meaningful impact on the conflictual behavior of social actors in order to achieve the desired results, this limitation of constructive confrontation outside influence on the public process. Conflict management include: forecasting of conflict, preventing some and at the same time encourage others, termination and, management and resolution. Each of these types of actions represents an act of conscious activity of the subjects, one of the conflicting or both, or a third party that is not in conflicting effects (Stanley, 2004).

Attitudes in conflict

Faced with a conflict, the individual may have different behaviors (Lipsky, & Avgar, 2010):

He ignores the conflict or pretended to ignore it (it's avoidance)

He denies the facts (the denial)

He tries to seduce or to blame (it's handling)

It has a non-violent approach (that is collaboration or compromise)

It adapts to the situation (it is a kind of submission)

He becomes violent (it is the confrontation with an authoritative answer or oppressive)

He resigned (the leak).

There are several approaches to conflict management but here we are going to cover five main approaches to conflict management and out of these five approaches we will identify the best approach to conflict management. Conflict can force people to seek new approaches; it can foster creativity and better problem solving problems. If handled properly the conflict helps to create the team (Howat, & London, 2008). Approaches are generally used for handling conflict:

Compromise

Smoothing

Focusing

Withdrawal

First approach to conflict management is problem solving in which conflict is resolved by supporting the individuals involved in conflict, this approach helps individuals by giving them all the options so that they can find the best solution out of it. It is also called as Confrontation approach. This approach is used in organizations when there is not any agreed, short, and clear solution to the conflict problem.
