What did you learn in this class that surprised you the most?

In this class the most surprised information that I learned is to explore the essentials of computer. The most interesting and surprised material that I learned is the Microsoft Excel in which I learnt to make sheets in which I can keep my calculation sheets and similar material. This software has amazed me as I do not have to calculate and keep up records on papers which are great things for me.

What did you learn in this class that will be useful to you? Please give at least 3 specific examples.

In this class a number of new things I have learnt. The most proficient and skillful software that I have learnt are

Microsoft PowerPoint - For making presentations of my lectures

Microsoft Excel - For making sheets of calculations and graphs of them in a precise manner

Internet Browsing and details - The in-depth analysis of the internet with its browsing, URL, servers, and web links details

What suggestions can you offer to improve this course?

First of all this course is very helpful in gaining the knowledge of essentials of computers. As the computers really help us in the present world, this course has enlightened different and diverse aspects of it. Through this course we got familiar to the computers and its software applications. There are few suggestions that I want to give for this course for making it more helpful and useful for the students. The first suggestion is that the course should provide more detailed explanations of the features of software applications like Microsoft Office and its sub-applications. The second suggestion for this course is related with the Web 2.0 tools that are Google Apps, Web-based forums, Blogs, and so on. In this topic more details should be provided and hands on practice should be given more time. As this course is to guide and educate the students with the comprehending of the concepts and notions that are required for the learner 21st century so it should be more precise and in depth analyzed. The course covers a wide variety of computer related applications and sections but for each section more details should be covered for providing an enhanced approach. If these suggestions are followed then the students will be benefited more and will develop more interest in the course.
