This assignment consists of two main parts. The first part of the assignment includes the competitive analysis for the chosen organization, Jack's Prime, which is a popular burger joint located in San Mateo, CA. Similarly, the second part of the assignment includes a service blueprint diagram, which focuses upon highlighting the target service function of check-point personnel. These are discussed as follows:



Competitive Analysis

Jack's Prime Burgers and Shakes first opened in 2008 as a small scale burger joint in the community. Owing to its commitment towards providing a quality product to its consumers, this joint soon became popular amongst the locals for its taste and value for money. A unique aspect of this business is that it serves wine and beer with the food, while also having a customary shakes and soda's options. Jack's prime uses only Prime Angus beef cuts in its burgers, which are served in specially baked large scale burger buns that are baked earlier everyday in morning. In addition, the joint uses fresh vegetables that are carefully selected for their use in burgers and making salads (Jacksprime.com, 2013). Thus, the main target market of Jack's Prime is composed of different families of varying sizes. Coupled with, those individuals who maybe old or young living in the area of San Mateo, who like to enjoy eating fast food. Similarly, in order to better serve its target market, Jack's Prime offers catering, home delivery and takeaway options to all its customers.
