ABSTRACT
In this study, the researcher aims to analyze the tourism in Peru and focuses on Lima and Cusco (regions of Peru). To understand Peru as a commodity and destination, a literature review using common travel resources was undertaken. The findings show Peru has an image that is heavily dependent on Incas, nature and Indigenous culture. Both the regions are different from each other and have their own importance and cultural heritage. Analysis of Literature enables the researcher to explore many aspects of Peru and helped in comparison between Lima and Cusco. In order to perform the research, qualitative methodology was chosen, which include both primary and secondary data collection. To verify the significance of data collected from the literature, interviews were conducted that ensure the significance of the research and validates the outcome. However, analysis of interview questionnaire shows that demand of tourism is rapidly increasing in Peru. People like the region of Lima and Cusco both the region have their own importance, and none can be declare as better from the other. In conclusion, a brief summary of the research is given along with the limitation and scope for future research.
