ABSTRACT

The advent and advance of smart phone technology has fundamentally changed the landscape of mobile networking in a very short time. The Iphone was initially launched in 2007 by the Apple and it was the best touch screen smart phone around the world. However since then remaining mobile companies have established their own phones like Iphone version. One of the most successful competitors of Iphone in the recent years has been Samsung with their wide range of smart phones. This has made an interesting fight between these top two mobile brands to introduce new mobiles with similar yet innovative features. The purpose of this study is to explore the impact of smart phones in today's technologically advanced era, to investigate the technologies behind the smart phones, to analyse the difference and similarities between Apple Iphone 5 and Samsung Galaxy SIII and to compare the Apple Iphone 5 and Samsung Galaxy SIII and the war of the smart phones.
