Introduction

This paper will discuss two stories from the book, “Sudden Fiction,” by Robert Shapard and James Thomas. The two stories for comparison purpose are Love, Your only Mother and Family Album. The two stories have very beautifully put across the message and have depicted the family love in an exceptional manner.

Comparison

The story Family album has superbly portrayed the family love and has been successful in putting across the message to its readers. The author has done a fantastic job in sending across his message and has made sure that the story amuses the readers. The story makes the readers imagine of their own family and gives a nostalgic feeling to those who are not with their family for various reasons. The story gives a very strong message to the people who are reading and makes them realize the importance of families in their family. On the other hand, the story 'Love, your only Mother,' is a story that talks about the importance of mother. The story is very inspiring which depicts that the person is incomplete without his or her mother. A mother is most important person in the family and is the one who is the bonding figure amongst the family members. This is the reason; the two stories are very inspiring.

The story, Family Album is very inspiring. The readers cannot help but to inspire from it. People who are reading the story are the ones who are the real audience of this story. The author has done a tremendous job in making sure that the message that he wants to convey is put across the readers. "I know these are the fairy tales that grieve us, and save us." This quote from the story tells us the true story of our childhood and also highlights the fact that we cannot live without our family. The author has highlighted the importance of family in a person's life and has made sure that the person who is reading the story is inspired from it and thinks about his family whenever he reads this story. On the other hand, the story Love, Your only Mother, is an inspiring story and makes sure that the importance of mother is felt by every person who reads the story.
