Introduction to the controversial issues

The local community is composed of people from different background with a number of diverse issues related to many things, aspects and beliefs. The most controversial issue of the local community is 'racism' the controversial issue is related to 'politics'. Some of the politicians for their own sake of popularity initiate and divide the local community into pieces and chunks i.e. politics on Black and White, Politics on Muslims and Hindus and politics on developing and third world country. If the controversial issue is removed and eliminated the whole community would life a healthy life. The second factor is the cultural diversity in the local community. All the aspects create an impact on the community and the global society. There is a need to take care of the minority who are living in the society. This is the reason why it is said that there are diverse issues related to community. It is important to address them so that all negative factors which are there in this issue can be resolved quickly. Therefore, these are the main issues which need to be analyzed in detail, and, a detailed discussion will be carried out in the following paragraphs.

The Brixton Riot of 1981 had happened in England on April 12 1981the riot was the result of one of the most controversial issue from the politicians that the country has faced. It is the politicians which make the situation which resulted in bloody riots, hundreds of persons got injured and most of them died because of the riots. They became the part of those riots which they never imagine, 45 civilians being wounded, about a hundred vehicles being burned, including 56 figures police cars; about 150 buildings being damaged, and 30 of them burned. According to reports, some 5,000 people participated in the riot. Brixton in south London was, and somehow it still is, an area of profound economic and social problems like high unemployment, high crime, poor housing, and lack of social services in an area with a predominance of black community in the area. The riots resulted in the supposition, according to a report issued by the Government in 1999; the law making authorities are more or less racist. (Gossett 1997, pp. 67-92)
