Introduction

Little joint attention is received by the community and community care. Support and care issues have been largely neglected in area-based work since the role for community development has been heightened, and communities are been focused, by the social inclusion and regeneration policy agendas. About the quality of long term care for disabled people there was increasing concern and criticism, in the era of 1980s. The idea of care in the community was yet committed by the government; a report called 'making a reality of community care' was published by the Audit Commission in the year of 1986. Rather than formal and statutory sector definitions, much broader definitions of community care were adopted by community representatives and groups. At a local level, the prerequisite of community care development is the community development. Local conditions affect the pace and the nature of the projects of community development as the projects operate in a wide cultural and socio-economic context and at a small-scale intervention. One worker is unsustainable in the long term who is working across two areas; therefore, a diligent worker is needed for each area (Brewer & Grabosky, (2013)).

In this assignment we are going to discuss the importance f community development and its different aspects. In addition, we are also going to discuss personal experience of serving or working with a local community recreational centre that aims at tutoring young adults.

Discussion

To ensure the ability to consult with community members widely, considerable resources are required by community networks.
