Executive summary

Camden Council is trying to reduce energy demand further in its housing stock in the future. It is about changing the gas supply and heating technologies, low-carbon housing in their software development and regeneration of goods. In 2008, Camden crisis opened a new house, which acts as an alternative outpatient treatment. The house offers 24 hour support and therapy for people with mental illnesses. In the last three months of 2008/09 there were delayed transfers of care from acute wards of mental health. Camden Council is responsible for leadership and success in creating a community where people get along. The number of people who believe people from different backgrounds get on well in your local area is 81.7 percent. There are very good levels of participation in Camden by 24 percent, which is significantly better than average. The level of volunteerism is high. 24. 7 percent of people regularly participate in voluntary activity.

Introduction

Camden is a city of immense contrast and diversity. The city of 8 square miles stretch of shopping malls and business Tottenham Court Road, New Oxford Street, Covent Garden, Fitzrovia and Holborn in the south, the exclusive residential districts of Hampstead and Highgate in the north. Camden is a key part of London's economy offers many opportunities for investment and job creation.
