Roger Rosenblatt's “I am Writing Blindly”

Roger Rosenblatt's “I am Writing Blindly” is a very reader-friendly material; the basic element that stands out in this literary context is “Understanding”. The writing style of the writer is very creative as he pens down about different scenarios that compel people to “write”. The readers find themselves totally engrossed with his flare of narrations and views 'writing' as the story of someone's life. Roseblatt contends that people are having different subjects in their minds when they write, giving an explanation as to why they write about various subjects and themes (Rosenblatt, pp. 1-22). This essay helps us think why we write in the very initial phase. It is the intention to tell a tale, according to this author, that compels people to write. The writer has done a remarkable job on this essay, by all means.

Being a combination of two lectures, “Walking” came out in the year 1851 (Thoreau , pp. 1909-14). Being one of his last literary achievements, the writer did not use a deathbed communication style to convince the audience based on a very empathic mood of writing. Moreover, it represents to be one of his final exhortations to the readers in order to catch their attention and focus its direction towards the offerings of Mother Nature (Thoreau , pp. 1909-14). The sensitive, unrepressed, passionate expression of the ...
