Common Life

Introduction

This paper intends to explore the passage extracted from the essay “The Common Life” written by American writer Scott Russell Sanders. The paragraph is about a woman who shifted from LA to Indiana. However, the writer says that the lady soon became uncomfortable with her surroundings because she started to recognize people in grocery store, in park, in library. One feels much comfortable when the surrounding people are unaware of him, thus he feels unaccountable of anything.
