Introduction

Cognitive behavioural therapy is an effective evidence based practice in order to overcome a number of disorders. The CBT is successful for depression, eating disorders, anxiety, abuse of substance, insomnia and other related issues. CBT provides help to clients with emotional disorders and disturbing past experiences in handling such situations. It essentially motivates the client to encourage themselves by distressing their disorders through the therapy. There are also a number of physical techniques that are proved very productive in relation to CBT.

There are a number of physical techniques that are useful for several of the disorders that require physical attention to conquer it. But, CBT adds a variety of physical techniques that are self designed with indication to the selected therapy. Role of Physical Techniques

CBT is a kind of therapy that is useful for many of the disorders that require personal focus on clients. It is an integrated part of therapy to involve physical attributes that defines and contribute towards emotional understanding of thoughts of the clients. It is an important phase as conducting CBT because most of the clients are not easily interactive and cannot respond to the needs of the therapy. Physical techniques allow them to feel free and relaxed in front of the therapist although, there are multiple exercises that facilitate disorders like obsessive-compulsive, depressive disorders and emotional disorders. The relative environment can well address a thought that can provoke the simplicity of ideas to cure the core problems a client have been facing (Boyes, 2012, p. n.d). Visual exercises as well as physical techniques such exercises, medication, controlling the breath through yoga and many others are often being used to locate the genuine problem behind it. The desired outcomes to evaluate the position of the client; a variety of physical techniques like yoga, aromatherapy, relaxation exercises are conducted so that observations can be made.

Examples of Physical Techniques

The mental and physical conditions of the client allow coming up with techniques that can help them to avoid a repetitive and continues problem. The major example of that can be named as deep breathing exercise. It controls heart beats in order to help such clients with emotional disorders and incidents that allow their breath to accelerate it.
