Introduction

Cockfights are also known as cock-fighting and are the stage for a battle or combat that takes place between two individuals of the same breed of birds known as "fighting roosters" or "fine fighting birds ". This practice has its origins in Asia. It is estimated that for 2500 years or so takes place in China and it is possible that a thousand years before had prominence in India.
