Introduction

Coaching practices are highly regarded in various activities such as sports. The effective coaching can consequently result in better development and training of a person. However, there are several factors which constitute the effective coaching such as learning environment. The coaching practices and philosophy extends far beyond mere training. There are different methods and approaches to coaching whi9ch can be adopted according to the requirement and circumstances. This paper discusses the diverse aspects of coaching philosophies and practices including learning environment and implementation of knowledge into coaching practices.

Discussion

A coach is an important person who assists other individuals in order to make a person aware and help the person in coping up with different implementations, which came across the change in the organization, and to deal with the new strategies in the development of career (Bloom, 2003). The key purpose of coaching is for a person to share information and knowledge that person gained from lifelong experiences and training in a rational world. Coach plays a role of an advisor, role model and a trusted friend to help the other person gaining the knowledge.

Coaching tends to focus on skills which cannot be seen to be identified in regular training; it helps the organization with their career development and provides them with the potential contacts of the clients. It tends to transfer skills rather than to work as an outsource party. It can be In-house coaching that appears to be cost effective than the outermost coaches. The main advantaged could be taken out in the form of that the internal coach already has the understanding of the objectives and the goals of the organization; the coach also has the idea of the problems concurrent in the business. The coach also has the idea of the subordinates view point in terms of the stress is an employee is going through and in term a person has the opportunity. The coach in this regard can speak in the language of the organization, as he knows the organization. It will be easier for the internal coach to gain the respect from the employees and build rapport accordingly as the coach chosen for the coaching training already has the leadership skills.

Effective coaches guide and direct athletes towards success by leading them through situations and problems by controlling and managing the team. There are characteristics of coaching like athletes. Coaches should be open to change. They should set examples to their athletes by adapting to the knowledge and circumstances. They should provide them clear vision to broaden their horizons. The goals of effective coaching include:
