Nursing care is not only to be suitable but should be considered effective by the patient, family, and community. Self awareness is an important part of identifying one's own values and belief. Every culture teaches the importance of care and humanity service. In order to know all the patients and understand their culture, a cross culture practice should be adopted at nursing. In many ways nurses can keep their patients away from harming. Except for providing necessary and good care to the patients another factor is very important that is the identification of the culture. Cross culture practice involves a combination of knowledge of various different cultures, views and beliefs of the people. An implementation of this standard is influenced by the CNL's knowledge of patient's culture health beliefs and values by their on purpose indication on their own attitudes, their ability in cross cultural communication and by their skill to measure and implement culturally congruent care. If one wants to enhance CNL's competency in cross culture area then clinical and health care institutions needs to provide the new and existing nurse's with educational workshops and seminars towards the importance of having cultural knowledge and expertise for effectual cross cultural practice.
It is an important area and practice of providing health care services focused on the comparative culture beliefs, practices and values to individuals from similar or different cultural backgrounds. The client and the nurse together can come up with an innovative lifestyle care for the health of the client but this requires professional knowledge or a leader like CNL who fits in diverse ideas in nursing care and attains the goals. Human Dignity is also a part of the core values and beliefs which are reflected when a CNL values and respects the patient and his / her colleagues. A CNL practice this by providing culturally experienced and responsive care, protects the privacy of the client and designs the care in a way that it is according to the client's needs and beliefs. The values & beliefs have a strong influence on the role of a CNL. A CNL is trained professionally in a way that he / she understand the needs and background of patients.
