In this paper we investigated Kenneth R. Janken item “The Civil Rights Movement”. We investigated that the Civil War appeared from 1861-1865; blacks still did not have the freedoms they had strived for. Nearly one century years subsequent in 1960, the municipal privileges action started where blacks would eventually profit from the equality they rightfully deserved. Many blacks put their inhabits on the line in alignment to obtain justice. When the segration and discrimination became too much to handle, blacks did what was required to be finished to put an end to all of this.
