In July 2005, the “Security Council Working Group on Children and Armed Conflict” was established in order to protect children who are affected by the armed conflicts where children carry guns and ammunition and wage wars with adults. For this reason, in 2005 Millennium Summit, “Children And Armed Conflict” was established by Security Council to counter this situation and work on this to address such type of a matter (Yule, 2003). This topic has been further elaborated by Javaid Rehman and other scholars by defending their own perspectives and views about this.

Discussion
Javaid Rehman, in the light of Islamic law and international human rights explain the inequalities faced, their causes and realities of children and armed conflicts. For the first time, Rehman explained the whole scenario and argued that there are millions of children who get affected by these arm conflicts in various countries especially third world countries such as Afghanistan and Pakistan.
