For my theme considering the imminent paper for this class, I chose the theme, concept and belief of civil disobedience. From my previous knowledge after briefly discussing this in class, the right of civil disobedience gives citizens the right to civilly disobey and revolt against something maybe of the government that they feel is unjust. This concept of municipal disobedience was exceedingly common all through the municipal conflict and more expressly when the regulation of the fugitive slave proceed was passed.
