• 1929: Richard Farmer started a business recovery rags.

• 1952: farmer dies, and the business passed to his son Herschel.

• 1957: Herschel son Richard took over the business and began to spread in the rental uniform.

• 1972: The company name is changed to Cintas.

• 1983: Cintas becomes public.

• 1997: The Company moves to the market first aid.

• 1999: Cintas acquires Unitog.

• 2002: Omni Services, Inc. is acquired.
