The synonyms of “organic church” are “house church” and “simple church” both of which used to define and compare the meaning of Missional organic church. However the synonyms do not do justice to its meaning as this form of church as it is not people collected in a living room and calling it a church. According to T. Austin Sparks this type of church is survives and invites people based on the spiritual reality of the church existing as an organism that is spiritual rather than an institute or organization.
The characters and main features of an organic church are that its members taught to live their life the way Jesus lived his and they are visibly expressing that in their lives in tangible methods. The group pursues Jesus in their lives and shares Him in all their meetings and their general community life. One of the most important elements is that there is no one to play the part of a head, as there is no clergy. All members participate equally and have different roles and positions and each has a say when making decisions, as they believe only Jesus can be their head.
This church built upon the love for Christ, not a theological setup or sets of practices or a human being, as the belief is that God himself used people to use the church to create relationships with Jesus.
