Introduction

This paper is referred to the case of Christopher Shun Scott wrongful conviction case. It all started on the night of April 6, in the year 1997. This incident took place at a duplex in Texas where a couple was residing with a reference to their relatives (Maurice,2012). The couple was named as Alfonzo Aguilar and his wife, Celia Escobedo. In the middle of the night the lady's sleep was broke due to some disturbance and noise after which she had to deal with a man pointing a loaded gun towards her. In the middle of the fight Alfonzo Aguilar was shot dead where as the other man sexually assaulted the lady (Maurice,2012). This unfavorable event created an immense difference in the life of Christopher Shun Scott who was convicted on a wrong identification of the victim. This all happened in just a time of seconds. The incident later become serious and led to a police investigation. Further in the paper the details of conviction and police investigation will be discussed. As discussed previously the event took place in the middle of the night which killed Mr. Alfonzo Aguilar who was the husband of Celia Escobedo.
