Christianity teaches us that God is the only creator of heavens and earth. God created the earth “to be inhabited” (Isaiah 45:18, NIV). This means that creation of earth is not just an accidental phenomenon, but it is actually the creation of God that must be highly valued and preserving and restoring its beauty is therefore the best service to God. However, this isn't actually happening in the real world. The modern world assumptions of humans have always brought crisis with the ecology.

Preserving and restoring the environment should be endorsed by the Christians includes many reasons. In the first place, God created the earth and then humans, who are given a task to take care of the earth and belongings. Therefore, Christians must realize the importance of taking care of each and every creation of the God.
