Nursing is a occupation I have always looked upon with esteem. I accept as true that the role of a nurse can be very demanding and hectic at times, as well as rewarding and fulfilling. In my attitude a person who is eager to become a doctor needs to have very good interpersonal skills, be a good listener, empathetic, keen to discover and strive to advance themselves. I believe I possess all of the above qualities and will endeavour to maintain and improve on them whenever possible.My genuine interest in caring for vulnerable people resulted in my study of special needs education at the Comenius University in Slovakia. throughout my five years study I profited valuable information of clinical and child psychology, learning for persons with multiple disabilities, developmental biological science, sociology and philosophy. To compliment this I also revised art, melodies, drama and play treatment, from which I enjoyed art treatment the most. I am cognizant of the healing and relaxing power of art, particularly drawing, as it is certain thing that has personally worked for me as means to relax.

My course not only involved theoretical study but furthermore valuable functional experience. Among the places where I have volunteered are: children's home, orphanage, dwelling for teenage mothers, vintage peoples dwelling, dwelling for mentally sick, diagnostic centre, re-educative children's dwelling, dwelling for blind young kids, therapeutic informative sanatorium, nursery and after school art club founded in a prime school. I furthermore took part in a project for homeless people.

I appreciated I decisively wanted to work in wellbeing care when I registered as a scholar with one childcare agency and was put with a tough" client. He was a lovely 12 year old with cerebral palsy. He assisted me to discover my caring mind-set and the yearn to make a difference in somebody's life.

I really relish employed directly with persons which is one of the reasons I have determined on this career path. I appreciate that nursing is a occupation for life. one time you become a doctor you are a doctor for the rest of your life. I choose the nursing profession because I have a strong passion for helping people in need. I have always wanted to become a nurse for a long as I can remember. I started at the age of 15 as a volunteer in one of the hospitals in New York. My duties included delivering water pitchers and meal trays to patients and assisting with other small tasks.
